Viewing angles are great compared to an HP w2408 (TN panel) that I also have, but plan to return. Found no dead pixels, and colours look good. I just set the monitor up and did some quick tests. The P-MVA panel version of this monitor has the same panel used in the highly reviewed BenQ FP241W. I believe I got the last one they had in stock at the Kerrisdale, Vancouver location, so this could mean their current stock consists of the older P-MVA panel versions? 2007, and is definitely not a TN panel, as the ones built Dec. edit: - see the end of this post for more details The one I got was luckily, Nov. The selling point for me is this model has a P-MVA panel (Panel type M240UW01 V0), as long as it was built on or before November, 2007 according to the sticker on the side of the box. It's a pretty basic monitor feature-wise, with a tilt-only adjustable stand, VGA and DVI inputs (no HDCP). The box is actually labeled 'Optiquest by Viewsonic'. Last night I picked up this monitor at London Drugs for $349.99 ($405.43 after $12 BC recycling fee + tax).
